What is Tap Star?
Tap Star is a physical NFC card for your counter. A customer taps a compatible phone on it and their phone opens your Google review page — making it easier for happy customers to leave a genuine review.
Can you guarantee I'll be number one on Google?
No honest company can promise a specific Google position. Reviews are one factor that can contribute to local search visibility and customer trust. Google decides where businesses appear.
How does the card work?
The card uses NFC. A compatible phone taps the card and opens the destination programmed onto it, such as your Google review page.
Do customers need an app?
No Tap Star app is required. Compatible phones can use NFC to open the programmed link.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
It works with compatible modern iPhone and Android devices. Older phones can behave differently depending on their hardware and settings.
Does the card automatically leave a review?
No. The card takes the customer to your review destination. The customer chooses whether to leave feedback and writes their own genuine experience.
Can customers leave a bad review?
Yes. Tap Star does not filter or gate reviews. Customers are directed to the real review destination and decide what feedback to leave.
Can you remove a fake or unfair review?
We can't remove reviews, and neither can anyone else outside Google. What we do is check a review against Google's published policies, report it on your behalf if it appears to breach them, and write a calm public reply in the meantime. Google decides the outcome and removal is never guaranteed.
What is the Custom NFC Review Stand?
A custom branded physical counter stand with built-in NFC, programmed to your Google review page. It's $99 as a one-time price. We collect your branding and review details after purchase.
Is this allowed by Google?
Tap Star does not create, buy or fake reviews, and it does not prevent customers from leaving negative feedback. Customers are directed to the genuine review destination.
Do I pay every month?
No. The physical card is a one-off purchase. Ongoing management is a separate optional service at $79 per month.
What's included in the $99 Done For You option?
We handle the card setup for you, program it to your exact Google review page, provide three cards and help tidy your Google profile.
What's the difference between one and two cards?
They're the same card. Two simply covers a second counter, till or service point — and works out at $40 a card instead of $49.
Can I use it at my business?
If your business has a Google Business Profile that accepts reviews, yes — cafés, salons, trades, clinics, shops and more. You place the card wherever customers naturally finish up.
Are you affiliated with Google?
No. Tap Star is an independent Australian business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Yes, we deliver Australia wide. Local in-person setup may also be available depending on location.
