Why it costs more than the standard card.
The tap works exactly the same on both. The difference is what it's made of and who drew it.
Matte, not glossy
No glare under shop lights and it doesn't hold fingerprints. A glossy card shows every touch by the end of the day.
Made to order, not off a shelf
0.86 mm rigid PVC cut to 90 × 90 mm with 5 mm rounded corners. It sits flat and won't curl.
Our design, not a template
Drawn by us. The generic blue card you'll see elsewhere is the same stock artwork everyone sells.
Stick it down once
3M adhesive backing. Put it where customers finish up and forget about it.

Will it work for my customers?Phones, taps and the honest answer
Most modern iPhones and Androids tap straight away with nothing switched on. Some older handsets need NFC enabled in settings, and a few won't tap at all.
Those customers can still search you the normal way — you haven't lost anything, the card just doesn't shortcut it for them. If most of your customers are older, that's worth knowing before you buy rather than after.
Is this allowed by Google?Review gating, fake reviews, the rules
Yes. We don't create, buy or fake reviews, and we don't screen anyone out. The tap opens your genuine Google review page and the customer writes whatever they want.
What isn't allowed is review gating — filtering happy customers to Google and unhappy ones to a private form. Some sellers do it. We don't, because it breaks Google's rules and it can get a profile penalised.
Tap Star is an independent Australian business and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Common questionsBad reviews, moving it, changing the link
Yes, and they should be able to. We don't filter or gate anything. If someone's had a poor experience they can say so — that's what makes the good ones worth something.
Yes. The chip is rewritable, so you can point it somewhere else any time.
The 3M backing is meant to stay put, so treat placement as permanent. If you'd rather move it around, leave it loose on the counter instead of peeling the backing.
No. This is a one-off purchase. We offer an optional monthly service if you ever want reviews managed for you, but nothing here rolls into a subscription.
