We're a few locals, not an agency.
The best shop on a street is very often not the one at the top of Google.
You've seen it. The cafe with better coffee sits below the chain, because the chain has three hundred reviews and they've got twelve. Same street, same suburb, better product, fewer customers.
The gap isn't quality. One of them asks for reviews and the other never got around to it.
So we designed one. A card for your counter, a tap, done. No app to download, nothing to remember, nothing to pay every month.
We're in the Blue Mountains and we run this ourselves. When you call, one of us picks up.
What you can hold us to.
Every Tap Star card is our own design, made to our spec. Four things we'll always stand behind.
Built to live on a counter
Heavy stock, matte finish, readable across the room. It should look like it belongs next to your eftpos.
A real person answers
Same number every time. If you can't get the card working, ring and we'll walk you through it.
We set it up with you
Dropped off in person where we can, programmed and set up on your counter. Order one card or ten — no minimum.
We'll talk you out of things
If your website's already good, we'll say so. If you don't need the monthly service, we'll say that too.
What this won't do.
There's a version of this business that fakes reviews, filters out the unhappy ones, or promises you a number one ranking. It makes money faster and it gets its customers' listings penalised.
We won't do any of it. Everyone who taps a Tap Star card lands on your real public review page and writes whatever they honestly think.
If your service is bad, this won't save you. It'll get you found out quicker.
What it does do is make sure the customers who already like you actually say so. For most businesses, that's the whole problem.
Want to see where you stand?
Send us your business name and we'll show you your review gap. Free — and we'll tell you if you haven't got one.
